Friends, the Old Testament prophet Zechariah said that there would be a new ruler like David, whose mission would be reconciliation and peace—not just for Israel, but for the whole world. Christ the King, the suffering servant of Mt. Calvary, now extends his arms to the ends of the earth, inviting all to participate in his victorious reign.
